Beakby Ditte Blohm
Future Memories by London-based Danish ceramist Ditte Blohm, show seven of her figurative, yet abstract, works in a subtle still life composition.
Each of them given a name that creates associations and opens up to interpretation and contemplation.
Using earthly materials and a single flower as a prop, the works is an inspiring display of imagination and artistic craftsmanship.
About the artist
Ditte Blohm was born in Denmark, and has a background in fine art and specialised in experience based pieces.
Ditte is especially drawn to the medium of porcelain. Her work is inspired by merging attitudes of danish and Japanese design, focusing on the Japanese ideology of the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete, against the inherent serenity of the Scandinavian design aesthetic.
